March Staff Spotlight: Val Francis

We’re excited to introduce you to a new member of #TeamICNE — this month we’d like you to meet Val, our benefits account executive! She has been working in the insurance industry for almost 15 years and joined our team last year.

Val loves having an impact on her community as a benefits account executive: “It feels really good to be a part of something so important. We support business owners and help them manage their costs and keep their employees well!” Through her work, Val is able to help clients all over Massachusetts: “It’s great being able to service clients all around the state! We don’t just help clients with their insurance needs — we take their temperature and really look to see if there is anything else we can help with. What are their new challenges? If we can feel their pulse, it helps us understand their challenges to help service them better.”

When Val isn’t helping her clients, she’s spending time with her family. As the mother of two student-athletes, many of her weekends and evenings are spent watching her daughters’ various games. In her free time, she loves to cook southern dishes and travel with her husband now that her daughters are older and more independent. She also enjoys volunteering with @HorizonsforHomelessChildren, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of young homeless children in MA.
